LSIC’s Housing Advocacy and Preservation Program Receives Grant Funding from the Women’s Bar Association Foundation

Did you know that over 65 percent of LSIC clients we assist in our office at Landlord & Tenant Court are women, many of whom are responsible for children and extended families? This statistic aligns with findings compiled in 2014 by the DC Fiscal Policy Institute that reveal women are poorer and evicted at much higher rates than men.
